We are Gas Safe registered. This should give you peace of mind that all the work will be carried out competently, to the latest standards and most importantly SAFELY.

However, because there are so many variables to consider and discuss with most installations, they will require a bespoke pricing estimate. All estimates will be in writing and are free. Most estimates will require a prior site visit, however if you require a quicker response, an estimate without a visit can be achieved providing enough information is provided. If you have an enquiry, you can contact us either on the contact form, Whatsapp, text or phone. We will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible and in any case respond to all messages within 1 working day maximum.
Based in Penarth, we mostly take on work in the local area including Cardiff, Dinas Powys, Sully & Barry. However, depending on the job we will consider work within a 40 mile radius.
Our Lead engineer has been working in the construction and property maintenance sector for 17 years so he has a lot of practical experience and knowledge to draw when it comes to looking at any specific gas or electrical issue in your house . He is fully qualified to the latest regulations in both gas and electrics (see certification).

When it became clear that I needed a new boiler, he advised me on the reliable makes and models and fitted the new boiler even giving up his Saturday morning off . I got details about Dragon Gas & Electrics off the app Nextdoor. Lots of people had given glowing reports about Gary’s reliability & professionalism. Those reports were right. He came to do a boiler service for me yesterday during which he picked up a few points including low gas pressure coming into our house. Following advice from Gary I arranged for Wales & West Utilities to call whereupon they shut our gas off. I mailed Gary with the result of their visit and he arranged to come back again today and spent a considerable amount of time sorting out a gas leak for me and making sure that all appliances were safe to use before leaving. I was very impressed with his thoroughness on both visits and have total confidence in his abilities. He was also very reasonable with his charges. I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for an engineer.
